International Journal of Urban Management and Energy Sustainability (IJUMES) is an interdisciplinary semiannual peer-reviewed publication that publishes original research papers, review papers, case reports, and short communications. IJUMES covers the subjects of urban management, planning, and energy with a focus on sustainable development. This Journal is committed to following the Ethics in Publishing Committee (COPE) and complies with the highest ethical standards in accordance with ethical law. All submitted manuscripts are checked for similarity through a trustworthy software named iThenticate to be assured about their originality and then rigorously peer-reviewed by reviewers. Each issue of the JUMES journal is available online. JUMES is licensed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 International (CC- By 4.0). Licensees may copy, distribute, display and make derivative works only if they cite the original published JUMES article.

International Journal of Urban Management and Energy Sustainability received a scientific rank grade "B" in the letter No. 1399-11956 dated 02/16/2022 from the Secretariat of the Research Planning and Policy-Making Center of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The cost of publishing an article in the International Journal of Urban Management and Energy Sustainability, according to the regulations for determining the cost of processing an article in open access scientific journals published by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran, will be equal to 15 million rial (IRR). Payment terms are provided in two stages for esteemed applicants. 50% of the cost will be after reviewing and issuing the final acceptance certificate and obtaining the copyright agreement from the author and the remaining 50% after preparing the article for publication and before the official publication of the article. Payment can be made online through the activated portal on the personal page of the author in charge of the article.
